Taiwanese singer Show Lo (罗志祥) has long been a fashion icon in the Chinese entertainment industry. One scroll through his social media page, and you’ll see the star in trendy garbs and accessories. He’s also known for having an incredible shoe collection – but many fans were shocked to find out exactly how many pairs he owns.
The singer recently posted a couple of pictures of his at-home shoe closet. Despite only showing one small section, Show had a staggering amount of shoes, mostly sneakers. The star also proudly confessed his love for footwear through his captions, writing, “I’m not afraid of having too many shoes, I’m just afraid of not having enough”.
Many netizens have reacted to Show’s enviable shoe closet, sharing a mix of shock and awe. Some, like singer Gary Chaw (曹格), even said the singer’s closet looked like a shoe store due to the amount of footwear he owned. One netizen got particularly curious about the total amount of shoes in the sneakerhead’s collection, to which he surprisingly replied, “I used to own 7000 pairs at one time, but I’ve since given it away and donated to schools in the countryside.”
Show’s love for shoes is well-known amongst fans as he has previously revealed that he loves buying shoes, especially when they’re limited edition. The star also takes good care of his kicks and uses specific equipment to preserve the condition. Show even had a single pair of shoes that he had kept in a transparent film since 2002. Even though the sneakers were over 20 years old, they looked in near-mint condition.
