Written and directed by Andrew Stanton, Finding Nemo was released by Walt Disney Pictures in 2003 and is the fifth film produced by Pixar Animation Studios. Holding a story line that is lots of fun and imagination Finding Nemo is about a clown fish, Marlin who meets Dory, a regal tang on his journey to rescue his son Nemo all the way to Sydney Harbour. Along the way, the two faced obstacles and challenges but Marlin is soon reunited with Nemo and he learns to let Nemo take care of himself.
The movie won the Academy Award for the Best Animated Feature and was nominated in three other categories including Best Original Screenplay. Finding Nemo is also the second highest-grossing film of 2003 as it earned a total of $936 million worldwide and is the best selling DVD of all time with over 40 million copies sold as of 2006.
