SM Entertainment has dropped SHINee’s Onew and solo singer Lee Jin Ah’s first collaboration for SM Station and it’s a sweet love song.
As promised, the music video for the latest track, titled “Starry Night” (밤과 별의 노래), was released at midnight on Friday (12th August). The song is also SM Station’s 27th track.
The harmonious duet starts off with a beautiful piano composition and as Lee Jin Ah starts to sing, other elements such as the double bass are added, giving the song a slight jazz vibe. The songstress’ candy-sweet voice and Onew’s deep vocals complement each other surprisingly well.
Though it’s pretty obvious that the 2 didn’t have any time off their schedule to film a music video together (either that or SM is on a budget), the colourfully animated MV is definitely worth watching. The 4-minute-long video seems to tell the story of a long distance relationship between a couple who think of each other under the same starry sky.
