The Legacy video which is directed by Kyle Padilla, shows a strong and powerful story about being there for the people you care about and love as it runs through a love story between a cancer-diagnosed mother and her son who turns into a vigilante. As the mother struggles with her treatment and effects, her boy is set to do anything and everything he can to help her feel better – that includes bashing in her co-worker’s car. His actions are slightly misdirected but his genuine concern and love gave her strength to continue on her fight to survive.
Nicky and Krewella didn’t just give life to their song but also raised awareness for cancer patients. Three actors who shaved their heads in the video donated their hair to Locks of Love – a wig making organisation for children undergoing chemotherapy.
