Shailene Woodley once again reunited with M83 as the latter has teamed up with the HAIM sisters for the soundtrack of Woodley’s upcoming novel-turned-movie “Insurgent.”

French electronic music band M83’s “I Need You” was released as the soundtrack for “Divergent“, Neil Burger’s sci-fi film that starred Woodley. The actress starred as Beatrice “Tris” Prior, a strong-willed female protagonist who doesn’t fit into any designated category in a post-apocalyptic world.

She “reunited” with M83 again through “The Fault In Our Stars” as the band’s “Wait” was featured in the movie. Woodley starred in the movie as Hazel Grace Lancaster, a 16-year-old cancer patient who meets and falls in love with Augustus Waters (played by “Divergent” co-star Ansel Elgort) in a support group.

M83 returned to the sequel of “Divergent” with HAIM through a newly released track titled “Holes In The Sky”. HAIM told MTV News that they have been “fans of Anthony Gonzalez and M83 for a long long time” and expressed that they were “ecstatic” when Gonzalez approached them to have them featured as the vocals.

They added:

We had the best time in the studio with him, it all happened so fast and was so easy and natural. We are so excited to be a part of this movie.

With Gonzalez’s beautiful composition skills, the song was further complemented with HAIM sisters’ rich vocals.

Zack Hemsey, who is best known for his composed piece “Mind Heist”, has contributed a song for “Insurgent” as well. Hemsey’s “See What I’ve Become” was featured in the official trailer of the movie. However, the official score for the movie will be composed by Joseph Trapanese.

Directed by Robert Schwentke, “Insurgent” is slated for release on 20th March 2015.
