Sony Pictures has finally released the official trailer for its upcoming summer film, “Life”. Helmed by Daniel Espinosa (from “Safe House”), the space thriller explores the existence of extraterrestrial life.
The intense trailer opens with John F. Kennedy’s Rice University iconic speech on space effort that was delivered on 12th September 1962 and viewers will be able to spot the film’s main storyline instantly.
Starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Ryan Reynolds, Rebecca Ferguson, Hiroyuki Sanada, Ariyon Bakare, and Olga Dihovichnaya, “Life” is written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (from “Deadpool” and “Zombieland”).
The official synopsis reads:
“‘Life’ tells the story of the 6-member crew of the International Space Station that is on the cutting edge of one of the most important discoveries in human history: the first evidence of extraterrestrial life on Mars. As the crew begins to conduct research, their methods end up having unintended consequences and the life form proves more intelligent than anyone ever expected.”
