“We are pleased to be a part of the VIMA Awards 2014, and what better way to start this journey by honouring Pop Shuvit for the Asian VIMA Hall Of Fame Awards. We at Hype Malaysia will continuously support VIMA in their efforts to shed light in the music industry be it local or international.” said Paul Anand, Editor of Hype Malaysia.<>

“This is another wonderful win for the local music industry. Hype Malaysia have always been one of our favourite ‘go-to” sites for all entertainment and lifestyle news in Asia and they just seem to get better and better as they progress. Even better is the fact they have been actively supporting the local music scene especially independent musicians, and  are now formulating even more online platforms to provide local and regional musicians with ample exposure of their talent. We salute them for also stepping up and sponsoring the Asian VIMA Hall of Fame award for Pop Shuvit, which we believe is such a landmark award for Malaysia’s biggest export  this century other than Yuna and Mizz Nina. Hype Malaysia is also exploring with Bite Media new areas in which they will be able to support and elevate musicians in the Southeast Asian region”  said Siva Zaphod Chandran, founder of VIMA and COO of Bite Media Sdn Bhd.

VIMA 2014 is the biggest and most important music awards in Southeast Asia and is divided into 3 platforms: VIMA MALAYSIA, VIMA INDIA and VIMA Southeast Asia (SEA). VIMA 2014 is also supported by Platinum Lifestyle, West Infinity, DeLena Fashion Jewellery (Croatia), DesiHipHop.com (USA), Rentak Sejuta, watevermusic.com (India) and Morning Rocket (Indonesia).
