As usual, we’re back with even more new recommendations of amazing places for you to try out and even a special bonus at the end, so be sure to read all the way through. This week we’re bringing you fancy restaurants of all cultures and even fusions, the most creative themed cafes and much more:

Time: 5:30pm – 11:00pm (Tuesday – Sunday)

Location: 38, Lorong Rahim Kajai 14, Taman Tun Dr Ismail, 60000 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Aposto is a modern Italian restaurant located in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, serving classic Italian fare with a modern twist. Aposto is derived from the Italian saying “Tutto Posto”, which means “everything’s good”.

Driven by a devotion to flavours and detail, Chef Patron Chu Wei Sin uses carefully curated fresh, premium, and imported ingredients in his artisanal cooking that infuses tradition with modern culinary techniques.

Nikkei cuisine with Peruvian origins is given a delectable Malaysian twist by Sushi Mastro Nikkei. The creators of Seafood Maestro, who built their name as seafood wholesalers for almost ten years before starting an internet retail business, are the driving force behind Sushi Mastro Nikkei.

They have now opened their first eating establishment, which is run by a crew with extensive knowledge of Malaysian and international eateries.

Location: Level LG1, Unit A-G-05, Dataran Cascades, Jalan PJU 5/1, Kota Damansara, 47810 Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Celebrate this week the Stranger Things way with a close encounter with Homesick Alien, serving novelties with an alien theme, such as prawn patty burgers on UFO-branded buns, that are inspired by 1960s space-age aesthetics.

A colourful room full of furniture in a variety of sizes and shapes that evoke the 1980s will greet you. You can expect to enjoy UFO burgers, handcrafted beverages, and coffee on the menu.

4. SWÔL Bistro

Time: 8am – 8pm (Monday – Thursday) , 8am – 10pm (Thursday – Sunday)

Location: 34-1, Jalan Telawi 2, Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur

The concrete works of art double as stylish, utilitarian furniture, in this new cafe with a name that sounds Nordic. The cafe is stunningly elegant, with contoured seats that appear more Tate Modern than Telawi.

The assortment is based on the patisseries of Paris, and includes anything from buckwheat sourdough loaves to macarons that were flown in from France in flavours like framboise, pistachio, and more.

BONUS:

A&W RM1 Curly Fries

Location: A&W Outlets

You can purchase curly fries for only RM1 with every receipt (limited to 1 curly fries per receipt). But this only offer is valid for ONE DAY: 13th July 2022, so be sure to go enjoy some curly fries for only 1 ringgit!
