If you’ve been dreaming of a chance to produce for some of the biggest names in K-Pop, here’s your chance! HYBE Corporation has recently announced a global audition to find the next generation of music producers to work with their lineup of groups.
Earlier this week, HYBE announced the launch of its “Next New Creator” global audition to discover and foster the next generation of music producers, while strengthening its global creative ecosystem. Four of the company’s biggest labels, BIGHIT MUSIC, BELIFT LAB, PLEDIS Entertainment and YX Labels, will be participating in the program, along with HYBE Japan.
The audition is open to all aspiring pop music producers aged 18 and above, from all parts of the world. There are no restrictions on educational background and no professional experience as a producer is required. Interested applicants can submit their application as individuals or in teams from 14th July (Tuesday), 10am KST, to 12th August 2026 (Wednesday), 2pm KST. For team applications, each member must submit their own application and indicate their team.
Applicants can submit two to five demo tracks that showcase their originality, individuality and potential to create globally competitive pop music. All submissions must include a list of credits. The entries will be evaluated based on creativity, distinctive musical identity and understanding of global music trends. It’s also worth noting that usage of A.I. in the demo tracks is prohibited.
After the initial screening and selection process, applicants will advance through multiple evaluation stages, including the main competition. The applicants who pass the final evaluation will receive 5 million KRW (approximately RM13,500). However, the main prize of the audition is the opportunity to collaborate with one of the participating HYBE labels and their groups, including BTS (방탄소년단), SEVENTEEN (세븐틴) and ENHYPEN (엔하이픈).
