A man from Indonesia has gone viral on TikTok this week for his “creative” way in helping to take care of his baby daughter when the mother isn’t around. As seen in the video, the father literally had to put on his wife’s undergarment in order to stop the clingy child from crying!
As shared by the man’s wife, Wiwin Saputri II, their child is clingy to her and would often cry whenever her dad holds her in his arms. This has in turn made it difficult for her to carry out other tasks at home.
“My daughter often cries every time her dad carries her,” Wiwin remarked. Unable to think of any other alternative, the father ended up wearing his wife’s bra in an effort to “trick” their daughter. Wiwin wrote, “He pretended (to be me by) wearing my bra. Because our daughter doesn’t want anyone other than his mother to carry her. I’m sorry, Paa. Thanks for helping me.”
Turns out, the tactic worked! As seen in the video below, the father managed to calm the baby down. At the time of writing (Wednesday, 18th August) the 13-second snippet has accumulated more than 1.6 million views and has received more than 115,000 likes on TikTok.
The TikTok post was flooded with tons of positive remarks left by netizens – who were obviously entertained by the man’s antics in the clip. Not only that, there were also a few who praised the husband’s efforts in helping to look after the baby.
