The waiting and the excitement of receiving news of a baby is definitely a dream come true moment for every couple. The waiting period for each couple differs from one another, some couples do not have to wait for long for the good news while some need to wait for a few years before it happens.
However, who would have thought in the midst of happiness of embracing a bundle of joy in the family, a devastating situation occurred that snapped the happiness away. The story was shared personally by a Facebook user known as Shaa Ibrahim. She informed in a post that she is currently pregnant with her first child after two years of waiting.
An unfortunate incident occurred resulting in the death of her husband due to an accident the next day (Monday 2nd August) after she announced her pregnancy to her husband. She informed that her husband, Wan Muhammad Hasruldin had passed away after being involved in an accident while on his way to work.
“This morning I sent you this picture. You didn’t get to see it. Allah wanted you to return to Him. You waited for two years, honey. I am strong because of this. This is my last WhatsApp message to you. Today my call remains unanswered,” read her heartfelt Facebook post.
Previously, the couple had to remain in a long distance marriage for two years due to work and they only started living together for two months. Shaa also stated that her husband was so excited on the news of their baby that he even wanted to cancel his plans to buy a new car in order to prioritise his family’s needs.
The late Wan Muhammad Hasruldin was safely buried in his hometown in Kampung Slow Machang, Pasir Mas on Tuesday (3rd August). Shaa in another post has expressed her gratitude and thanked everyone who helped ease the process.
