The 2017 Met Gala was held on Monday (1st May) and everyone seems to be talking about it – be it Katy Perry red “bride” gown or Kendall Jenner’s revealing G-string dress.
But aside from all the over-the-top fashion, Hollywood’s power couple Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively were put in the spotlight for their deep love for each other.
According to PEOPLE, the “Deadpool” star told Humans Of New York founder Brandon Stanton that his wife taught him about empathy and even helped him past his daddy issues.
He said, “She always responds with empathy. She meets anger with empathy. She meets hate with empathy. She’ll take the time to imagine what happened to a person when they were 5 or 6 years old. And she’s made me a more empathetic person. I had a very fractured relationship with my father. Before he died, she made me remember things I didn’t want to remember. She made me remember the good times.”

40-year-old Reynolds and 29-year-old Lively first met on the set of “Green Latern” in 2010. They tied the knot in a private ceremony in September 2012 and share 2 beautiful daughters – 2-year-old James and 7-month-old Ines.
