Uh oh, is there trouble in paradise for Chris Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky?
When Australia’s Woman’s Day 31st October issue claimed that the couple’s marriage is “on the rocks” and is on the verge of breakdown as a result of spending time apart, the “Thor” star was quick to slammed down rumours.
According to the tabloid, Hemsworth has been busy filming “Thor: Ragnarok” in Brisbane and the Gold Coast, while Pataky was seen jetting off to her native Spain with their 3 children – India, 4, and 2-year-old twins Tristan and Sasha – last month. This prompted Woman’s Day to conclude that they were headed for divorce.
Hemsworth responded by uploading a photo of with his wife, along with a tongue-in-cheek caption. “Looking for a new wife according to @womansdayaus and other misleading outlets!” wrote the actor. The Aussie hunk can be seen shielding his eyes while looking out into the distance. “Honey you still love me right?!” he added.
Pataky also took to Instagram to share a happy selfie of her and her husband cuddling up. “Ahora y siempre! Always and forever!” Hemsworth’s beau wrote.
The “Thor” star and Pataky first met in early 2010 and tied the knot in December that same year. The family of 5 now lives in Byron Bay on the New South Wales North Coast.
