Adam Levine will soon be welcoming another angel into his life.
The Maroon 5 singer and his wife, Victoria’s Secret Angel Behati Prinsloo, are expecting their first child together. Needless to say, both husband and wife are said to be over the moon with this news. Sources claimed that the supermodel is 3-4 months into her pregnancy.
“The Voice” coach, 36, and his wife, 26, dated for a year before announcing their engagement in July 2013. The couple tied the knot in front of family and close friends the following year in a lavish ceremony in Los Cabos, Mexico.
Levine and Prinsloo are happily married now but their first encounter was rather uncomfortable. “We kind of started talking over email, back and forth for months. I was kind of making fun of him. We talked over email for such a long time and then went to L.A. and we met for the first time,” shared Prinsloo.
She continued, “When we met finally, face to face, he was shooting the boxing music video, “One More Night,” I think it was, so he had gloves on. And I walked through the door and was like, ‘What am I doing here?’ And he had his gloves on and was like, ‘This is awkward, hi!”
The couple have not been shy about expressing their desire to have a big family. “I’ve always wanted a family since I was a little girl, a big family… I’m an only child so I wanted like 10 kids… for sure,” Prinsloo previously said during an interview with “The Lowdown with Diana Madison”.
Since tying the knot, the Maroon 5 frontman has also expressed the desire to have loads of kids. Levine said, “Like 17. Is that reasonable? I love kids so much, though. I love seeing kids on the [The Voice] set, too.” Can you imagine him singing about having “moves like daddy”? 😉
