The Hong Kong actress has always maintained a close connection to her fans via social media. Recently, a lucky fan of hers was seen receiving a branded watch from the actress. This made many netizens online envious, wishing that they were in the lucky fan’s shoes.
A few days back, Cecilia was in China and was about to fly back to Hong Kong. At the airport, she was surprised to see a group dedicated fans waiting to meet her. After noticing them, the 43-year-old walked towards her fans while taking off a white watch from her wrist. “I didn’t know that you all are here to send me off. This (watch) is the latest (edition) this year. I just put it on, it’s for you now,” she said while handing the watch to one of the fans.
Because there was a group of fans present, the well-loved actress suggested for her fans to play a couple rounds of rock paper scissors to determine who gets the watch as a gift from her. Eventually, a winner was pronounced. The lucky winner accepted the gift from Cecilia with overwhelming happiness and kept thanking her.
After some digging, a netizen found out that the watch is worth up to almost RM3000. The Glory Watch is a Hong Kong brand in which Cecilia is an ambassador for.
Multiple videos were posted online of Cecilia’s interaction with her fans at the airport. Some netizens praised her for her down-to-earth and generous personality. Whereas, many others expressed how envious they were of the lucky fan who got to receive the gift from the actress.
