Hilton Kuala Lumpur welcomes the Mid-Autumn Festival with the launch of its 2026 mooncake campaign, headlined by the Moonlit Carousel, a premium mid-autumn collection and complemented by The Hilton National Collection. Thoughtfully curated to celebrate one of the year’s most cherished traditions, this year’s campaign brings together elegant design, culinary craftsmanship and the spirit of meaningful gifting, offering collections suited for both personal celebrations and corporate gifting.
Continuing Hilton Kuala Lumpur’s tradition of unveiling an annual collectible, the Moonlit Carousel draws inspiration from Claude Debussy’s Clair de Lune (“Moonlight”). Presented in an elegant keepsake music box, the collection captures the warmth and nostalgia of Mid Autumn through refined design, eight premium mooncakes and RM400 worth of dining vouchers redeemable across Hilton Kuala Lumpur’s signature restaurants, creating a gifting experience to be cherished long after the festive season.
Complementing the premium collection, The Hilton Mooncake Collection celebrates Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage through a design inspired by the traditional Chinese fan and adorned with vibrant Malaysian batik motifs. Thoughtfully created for both personal and corporate gifting, the collection embodies culture, craftsmanship and togetherness while offering a timeless way to celebrate the season.
At the heart of every collection is the culinary expertise of Hilton Kuala Lumpur’s award winning Chinese restaurant, Chynna. Executive Chinese Chef Lam Hock Hin, together with Dim Sum Chef Wong Wai Yuan and their culinary team, continues to honour authentic Cantonese traditions through handcrafted mooncakes made with premium ingredients and meticulous attention to detail. This year’s collection presents a harmonious balance of timeless favourites and contemporary creations. Returning favourite Heavenly Gold, crafted with pure premium Musang King durian, is joined by two new artisanal snow skin flavours, the Ocean Pearl, a bold savoury combination of cod fish, black pepper, macadamia nuts and pumpkin seeds, and Amber Moonlight, where red bean, lotus paste and fragrant orange come together in a refreshing modern interpretation of a festive classic. Together with an extensive selection of traditional baked and artisanal snow skin mooncakes, the collection reflects Hilton Kuala Lumpur’s passion for innovation while remaining rooted in tradition.
Available from 15th July to 25th September 2026, the Moonlit Carousel offers a curated selection of traditional baked, artisanal snow skin and premium mooncake assortments.
