Hello Kitty fans and friends in The Lion City would be pleased to know that the first ever Hello Kitty cafe in Singapore is slated to open next month! The best part is that it’s a permanent fixture and unlike the Hello Kitty Gourmet Cafe at Sunway Pyramid, the Hello Kitty cafe in Singapore is 24-hour F&B outlet.
And just in case you think that we’re making this up, Changi Airport themselves confirmed their latest F&B outlet addition about 2 weeks ago via their Facebook page. Yuh huh, it’s legit, you guys 🙂
Named the Hello Kitty Orchid Garden, the thematic cafe is located at Changi Airport. According to Lady Iron Chef, it draws inspiration from Singapore’s “Garden City” vision and will feature lush greenery and flowers. So you can be sure that the Hello Kitty Orchid Garden will be an Instagram-worthy cafe 🙂
Although there are no confirmed details on what the cafe will serve, we’re guessing that just like the Hello Kitty Gourmet Cafe in Malaysia, the Hello Kitty Orchid Garden menu will also comprise sandwiches, all-day breakfast, burgers, and delectable desserts such as gelato sundaes, waffles, pastries, and cakes. Desserts for supper? Yum, yes please!
And that’s not all. The Hello Kitty Orchid Garden will feature a retail section as well, selling Singapore-exclusive merchandise including postcards, DIY plant kits, plushies, Hello Kitty-inspired tea blends, and more. It’s going to burn a hole in your pocket for sure but hey, if you’re a hardcore Hello Kitty fan, these classify as needs 😀
Passing by Singapore or Changi Airport anytime soon? The Hello Kitty Orchid Garden will open its doors to Hello Kitty fans sometime in May 2016. It is located at Singapore Changi Airport, Terminal 3, Arrival Hall Central #01-22.
