Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport BUKIT BINTANG CITY CENTRE (LaLaport BBCC) has kicked off the festive season with a special Pokémon-themed event, the LaLaport Pokémon Happy Holidays. Happening now until 4th January 2026, LaLaport BBCC invites fans and visitors of all ages to step into a world of Pokémon magic, where Pikachu and friends are ready to spark joy with fun-filled activities, games, and festive surprises.

Pikachu Special Appearance
In the coming five weeks, Pokémon takes centre stage at LaLaport BBCC with Pikachu being the main highlight of the event. Every weekend, fans can meet Pikachu up close during special Meet-and-Greet sessions and catch the Walkabout appearances around the mall, spreading smiles and spontaneous fun.
Pokémon Hunting at LaLaport BBCC
To spark a little holiday adventure for shoppers, LaLaport BBCC has introduced a fun quest to hunt for Pokémon throughout the mall. Shoppers and visitors can embark on an exciting Pokémon Sticker Collection quest, where eight different Pokémon stickers will be available each week and must be collected from a different set of eight participating stores.
Pokémon fans can redeem the sticker booklet with a minimum spend of just RM10 mall-wide and collect the stickers for free over the course of five weeks. Across the campaign period, there will be 40 stickers to collect, and completing the full set allows shoppers to redeem a limited-edition Pokémon sticker set.
Additionally, those who purchase any Pokémon merchandise at the LaLaport Pokémon Happy Holidays booths at the Main Atrium on the Ground Floor will receive a postcard that allows them to collect five exclusive stamps at no cost. Stamp counters will be placed throughout the mall, creating another enjoyable mini-hunt to complete. As they search for stickers and stamps, visitors can also discover and pose at the numerous Pokémon photo spots located throughout the mall.
Pokémon Playtime
Pokémon enthusiasts can also enjoy free Pokémon Trading Card Game tutorials, where they will learn new battle strategies and gameplay tips. For those who prefer digital action, the Nintendo Switch 2 Pokémon Legends: Z-A game demo offers hands-on gameplay, giving fans a chance to experience the latest Pokémon adventure first-hand.
Holiday Shopping Treats
As the holiday season approaches, themed retail pop-ups will offer a variety of merchandise, including official Pokémon collectables and other seasonal offerings. The festive magic continues with a dazzling Pokémon-themed Christmas tree light show every night at the WoW Plaza on the Ground Floor, featuring playful visual effects exclusive to LaLaport BBCC.
To elevate the shopping experience, LaLaport BBCC will host its inaugural Black Friday Late Night Sale from 28 to 30 November, where visitors can shop till midnight with unbeatable deals, flash sales and exclusive items. Special Pokémon merchandise, including a lanyard & cardholder, tumbler, and travel bag set, awaits holiday shoppers who spend RM500 and above in any of the shops.
