For some reason, September has been feeding us a line of scandals since the beginning of the month. The most recent one was Chinese artist Li Yifeng who was arrested for soliciting prostitutes. In fact, GOT7″s Jackson Wang has also been dragged into said mess.
Now, netizens are pointing out an obvious problem with Chinese actor, singer and host Hans Zhang (张翰). Hans has been going viral for his recent drama “Gentlemen, Attention Please (东八区的先生们)”. Unfortunately, he’s been getting more criticism than praise. And this is mainly because Hans has been behaving inappropriately on screen!
In the drama, Hans has been acting alongside co-actor Sunny Wang (王晓晨). While there is no denying that actors often have to do unscrupulous things at times, some feel Hans has simply been taking advantage of Sunny during scenes.
The most recent scene that sparked the controversy placed the two at a dining table. Hans apparently reached out to pull Sunny to his thigh. However, in doing so, he also ended up placing a hand on her chest. Netizens claim they saw him “pushing” his hand down.
Needless to say, most weren’t happy. Several claimed that it couldn’t have been accidental and likened it to sexual harassment. Additionally, netizens pointed out that Hans was also a producer and screenwriter for the drama. “It is said that he spent four years polishing the script,” one comment reportedly stated. “Did he use his lower half to polish it?”
This is not the first time Hans has come under scrutiny for inappropriate behaviour. Previously, he was reprimanded for pulling on Sunny’s bra in another episode. However, neither Hans nor Sunny have commented on the issue.
