It’s always hard to miss the changes in a person, especially if they’re old school mates. But, according to YB Hannah Yeoh, local rapper Joe Flizzow’s fashion sense hasn’t strayed far from what she remembers during their school days!
Joe Flizzow has always been open about his close friendship with the Minister of Youth and Sports. But, as it turns out, their schooling days weren’t all that peaceful, especially since Hannah and Joe often butted heads, specifically over, his clothes.

In a TikTok video that has since gone viral, it showed a clip of Joe claiming “You got to stand out,” presumably from his documentary “This is Johan” about his musical journey. Well, Hannah added to that by sharing an anecdote about Joe during their time at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Subang Utama (SMK) in Selangor.
“His uniform is not like a normal uniform,” she recalled. “Somehow, he had baggy pants.” As it turned out, the rapper’s ‘fashion sense’ didn’t stop there. “His shirt was always not tucked in,” she added. “As the head prefect, I was always correcting him.”
As if in response, another of Joe’s clips was shown, with the rapper stating: “Being naughty is better than being mean. Being naughty is fine. Being stubborn is fine. Just don’t be mean.” Funny enough, Hannah herself later reposted the quote on her Facebook, although she didn’t add her own thoughts to it.

Well, despite their differences, Hannah Yeoh and Joe Flizzow are still on good terms, with the duo reportedly occasionally exchanging views about ongoing issues in Malaysia. Well, Joe is free to be as fashionable as he wants now as Hannah doesn’t have to correct his appearance anymore!
