Is there a new Hallyu couple on the block?
According to various reports, actors Lee Joon Gi (이준기) and Jeon Hye Bin (전혜빈) have been dating for 2 years. Apparently, the pair would have secret dates at Jeon’s villa. It was also revealed that they were spotted going on various dates in the past.
Koreaboo noted that the 34-year-old “Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo” actor and 33-year-old Jeon are under the same label (Namoo Actors) and were co-stars in KBS2’s “Gunman in Joseon” 3 years ago.
The media outlet also added that they were wrapped up in dating rumours in June and August 2015. However, the 2 stars have always insisted that they were only good friends.
Besides that, Dispatch dropped several photos of Lee and Jeon’s dates shortly after the dating news broke. One of the images also shows Lee walking with a pomeranian, allegedly Jeon’s pet named Happy.
On Tuesday (4th April), Namoo Actors confirmed the couple’s relationship. In a statement, they said, “Lee Joon Gi and Jeon Hye Bin met as colleagues through a drama in 2014, and when the first dating rumour report was released, they were good friends at the time. However, the two progressed into a dating relationship sometime during the beginning of 2016.”
“They had a lot of similarities as friends and became interested in each other, but they spent a long time confirming those feelings, which is why they are carefully dating. Please look upon these 2 actors fondly as they continue their activities,” they continued.
Lee recently appeared in tvN’s “My Ear’s Candy” alongside actress Park Min Young while Jeon went on a month-long friendship trip to South America with her “Another Oh Hae Young” co-star, Seo Hyun Jin.
