Dispatch has done it again.
The Korean media outlet, famed for lifting the veil off South Korean celebrities’ secret relationships and scandals, just released their latest celebrity photo set featuring none other than Block B’s rapper Zico (지코) and K-Pop idol girl group AOA’s Seolhyun (김설현).
According to Dispatch, the images of them going on multiple dates were taken in May this year. They supposedly met through work when they had overseas promotions and music program schedules. Zico and Seolhyun have met up for dates on 31st May, 7th August, and throughout June and July.
Dispatch also cited an “anonymous acquaintance” of the idols as saying, “When Seolhyun was having a tough time because of controversies, Zico was there for her, and she leaned on him a lot.”
The photos caught Zico and Seolhyun on dates in the car, at the Han River in Zico’s black Porsche, and Zico’s house. In fact, a few burst shorts showed Seolhyun quickly running into a building after getting out of a vehicle.
It is believed that she was running into Zico’s house.
Rumour has it that Zico and Seolhyun have been dating for about 5 months now, but we’re still waiting for their reps to confirm the news. We’ll update this post with more information as soon as we have the details.
UPDATE (10th August, 12:58pm):
Both Seven Seasons (Block B’s label) and FNC Entertainment (AOA’s label) have confirmed that Zico and Seolhyun are indeed dating!
Seven Seasons said, “After seeing the news reports and asking Zico for confirmation, he delivered us the news that they met during difficult times in their careers and are close sunbae-hoobaes, currently getting to know each other.” while FNC Entertainment stated, “Seolhyun and Zico relied on each other during their tough times and began developing feelings, and are currently comfortable sunbae-hoobaes… Please watch over them warmly.”
