Did you know that Storm and Wolverine had a thing? We certainly didn’t!
The shocking secret was revealed by Halle Berry, who portrayed the white-haired mutant in the early “X-Men” films. In speaking with Entertainment Weekly, the actress shared that her character and Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine had some romantic history.
“Storm and Logan used to be lovers. It’s true. Storm and Logan had a thing,” she said.
Entertainment Weekly pointed that in one of the deleted scenes for Bryan Singer’s “X-Men: Day Of Future Past” (2014), Logan is seen kissing Storm goodbye before traveling back in time to change the course of history. Besides that, Movie Web noted that Mystique once disguised herself as Storm to seduce the clawed mutant.
“Storm and Logan used to be lovers. It’s true. Storm and Logan had a thing. I joke in the movies, I’m like, ‘How come nobody’s loving on Storm.’ Like what’s wrong with Storm? Nobody is checking for Storm. So, we decided that Storm and Logan had a thing, and then Jean came and messed that up,” she explained. “When he really decided that Jean Grey was his (love)…that caused a problem…the having 2 girls at once thing, that didn’t work for…that doesn’t work for Storm.”
Halle Berry will be next seen as Ginger in “Kingsman: The Golden Circle” when it hits cinemas on 22nd September 2017.
