Hael Husaini Unveils 2 New Drama OST Singles “Peluk” & “Alangkah”

Singer, composer, and beloved storyteller Hael Husaini returns with two heartfelt ballads that showcase his signature emotional depth. “Peluk,” a duet with Nadeera, and “Alangkah”, both released under Rocketfuel Entertainment, have already been selected as OSTs for two of Astro’s most anticipated dramas.

“Peluk”: A Romantic Ballad About Longing

“Peluk” explores the bittersweet reality of long-distance relationships, capturing the constant yearning and hope of reuniting with a loved one. The track serves as the OST for Astro’s hit drama Mandul Bukan Pilihan, starring Hun Haqeem, Mira Filzah, and Ayda Jebat.

The song reunites Hael with powerhouse vocalist Nadeera, following their viral Raya track “Meriah Lain Macam.”

“So many couples go through LDR phases, whether because of work, studies, or life circumstances. I wanted this song to be a companion for those moments of longing. Sometimes missing someone is painful, but within that pain, there’s beauty,” Hael explained.

For Nadeera, the collaboration held special meaning: “This song isn’t just about distance; it’s about love that stays strong even when tested. I’m so grateful to Hael for trusting me to lend my voice to such a beautiful piece.”

“Alangkah”: A Touch of Melancholy in Love

Where “Peluk” feels warm and tender, “Alangkah” takes a more reflective, melancholic approach. The ballad explores deep love and the quiet heartbreak of unrealised dreams, anchored by the haunting line: “alangkah baik jika takdir berpihak padaku…” (“if only fate was on my side”).

The song has been chosen as the OST for Astro’s “Thariq Ridzwan”, starring Meerqeen and Qasrina Karim. “I was inspired by people close to me, those whose love stories didn’t turn out the way they hoped. I wrote this with an open heart, believing that even in pain, there’s something beautiful worth remembering,” Hael shared.
