The legendary Singaporean comedian, known for his signature yellow boots, is set to make a comeback on the Malaysian stage but not as his usual persona. Gurmit Singh, known for his iconic role in the 1977 hit show, Phua Chu Kang, returns to KL as “Hero Singh”, the ever-vigilant Punjabi security guard ready to knock your socks off with his no-nonsense absurdities.
Presented by Laugh Die You, Gurmit’s popular comedy franchise, ready your stomachs for a one-night-only Singapore vs Malaysia showdown, “Laugh Die You: Hero Singh – Guilty As Charged” happening on 3rd May 2025 (Saturday) at HGH Convention Centre. Expect a night filled with larger-than-life antics and Singaporean charm as “Hero Singh” is joined by his two Malaysian comrades, Rizal Van Geyzel and Saint Kylo.
Back by popular demand after his successful show last year, “Hero Singh” takes the Malaysian stage, but he’s not alone. Joining him for an epic Singapore vs Malaysia comedic showdown is Rizal Van Geyzel, known for his jokes on daily Malaysian life and quick-witted humour.
To add to the 3-hour long show is Saint Kylo, the singer making headlines in the local music scene with his soulful voice, ready to blend the musicality with the comedy madness.
