Everybody loves Groot. Everybody wants Groot. Everybody can’t get enough of Groot. This saying is evident during the Wizard World Chicago Comic Con over the weekend.
“Guardians of the Galaxy” stars Michael Rooker (who plays blue alien Yondu in the film) and Dave Bautista (who plays Drax) rocked up to the convention for a panel and to meet with friends. Halfway through, however, they decided to recreate the now classic dancing baby Groot scene from the film. In the originals scene, a baby Groot dances along to the Jackson 5’s “I Want You Back” while Drax sharpens one of his knives. Every time Drax turns to look at baby Groot, baby Groot immediately freezes.

The recreation video below (uploaded by Blake Garris onto YouTube), Michael Rooker plays the part of Groot while Dave Bautista reprises his role as Drax. Michael is seen dancing in a giant plant pot while the crowd laughs hysterically when he freezes each time Dave Bautista turns around.
