If there’s anyone credible enough to break the news on the upcoming season of “Game of Thrones” aka #GoT, it has to be the “Mother of Dragons”, Emilia Clarke. The series just scored a leading 24 Emmy nominations for its 5th season and apparently, its 6th season might just turn out to be even bigger and better!

Previously, Emilia hinted at her doubts that Jon Snow is truly gone from the fantasy drama TV series and now she is giving the inside scoop on season 6 (S6).

Emilia Clarke as Daenerys Targaryen (Mother of Dragons) in “Game of Thrones”

It was revealed at Comic-Con that the cast has already received scripts for the upcoming season and in an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Clarke couldn’t hold back back her excitement.

She was quoted as saying:

Ooooh. Oooooh there’s so much in store for her (Daenerys Targaryen). I’m saying that obviously because I’ve read the script for next season. Muwah ha ha! I know stories. It’s really exciting. Next season, I’ve said this before, but there’s a lot of season where you need to (rightly so) kind of need to set the scene. And you have a couple of episodes where you’re like, “OK, feeding information, I get it. We’re finding out about this person. And we know about that person. And oh, there’s that person.” But this season coming up, that we’re about to film, there’s none of that. It’s just go, go, go, go. Shocking moment to shocking moment. Epic moment to epic moment. It’s mental; it’s epic. And definitely Dany’s a part of it.

In case you didn’t hear, Emilia was recently nominated for an Emmy along with co-star Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister), who has also teased shocking moments in S6.

“Every year you go ‘What?! Whaaaat!?’ and having read these, it’s the same feeling again,” Lena told Variety. “There’s a lot to be very excited about.”

Season 5 of “Game of Thrones” ended with the show basically caught up to the books, so the future of the characters and the series is largely unknown. There is one thing you can almost count on, though. Filming locations and character casting calls have caused wide speculation that S6 might finally reveal who Jon Snow’s true parents are.

Also, Isaac Hempstead Wright recently confimed to Irish Examiner that he (Bran Stark) will be back in the upcoming season. We are beyond excited 😀

We’ll leave you now with the full “Game of Thrones” SDCC 2015 panel. Enjoy:

“Game of Thrones” is based on George R.R. Martin’s best-selling book series “A Song of Ice and Fire”, brought to the screen as HBO sinks its considerable storytelling teeth into the medieval fantasy epic. It’s the depiction of 2 powerful families – kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars and honest men – playing a deadly game for control of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros, and to sit atop the Iron Throne.
