#GoT: First Season 6 Footage Debuts In HBO 2016 Promo Trailer

The 6th season of “Game of Thrones” is clearly a highly anticipated season because even a 3-second footage is enough to get fans excited about the new season of the show.

On 6th December (Sunday), HBO teased its 2016 lineup by releasing a promo trailer that shows a sneak peek of its new and returning series.

A brief snippet of “Game of Thrones” S6 was tucked in the trailer as well. The footage does not have any sound and there was no footage that can prove that Jon Snow (played by Kit Harington) is alive.

However, we did get a brief glimpse at a worried-looking Daenerys (played by Emilia Clarke). We were also given a quick look at Ramsay Bolton (played by Iwan Rheon) on a horse. In a blink-and-you-miss-it shot, we see Cersei Lannister (played by Lena Headey) hugging Tommen Baratheon (played by Dean-Charles Chapman) who’s wearing a crown.

The 6th season of “Game of Thrones” will see the return of Bran Stark (played by Isaac Hempstead-Wright), Hodor (played by Kristian Nairn), Meera Reed (played by Ellie Kendrick), and Yara Greyjoy (played by Gemma Whelan), all of whom did not appear in the 5th season.

“Game of Thrones” season 6 is set to return in April 2016.
