If you can’t think of a reason to visit Penang, we’ll give you one – Glow In The Park.

From now till 30th June 2019, a new LED (light-emitting diode) park has been decorated with a ton of enchanting lights that glow in the dark.

The Glow In The Park experience is open to public and it’s located at PICC (Penang International Commercial City) in Jalan Tun Dr Awang, Bayan Lepas. The PICC sales gallery spans 25,000 square meters of space.

Visitors can expect to find between 15,000 – 20,000 LED lights here. There are plenty of Instagram-worthy corners to filled up your social media. There are LED giant butterflies, see-saws, swings, dazzling ornaments, plus a LED Tulip garden and LED tunnel, just to name a few.

The launch, which took place last week, was conducted by the management of Hunza Properties Berhad. Hunza Group managing director Datuk Khor Siang Gin shared that Glow In The Park is meant to encourage families and friends to spend time together here. “We hope to bring community together through this initiative,” he added.

It looks like a scene from a fairytale, no? The venue will be open daily from 10am till 9pm but do note that the beautiful LED lights will only come alive from 7pm onwards. So plan your trip accordingly.
