Hong Kong pop star Gillian Chung (鍾欣潼) is now happily married with Taiwanese doctor, Michael Lai (賴弘國).
The couple had an intimate wedding ceremony in Los Angeles back in May which was attended by some of Gillian’s closes celebrity friends including Charlene Choi (蔡卓妍), Joey Yung (容祖兒), and Yumiko Cheng (鄭希怡).
The newlyweds have already locked a date for their wedding banquet in Hong Kong which is set to be in December this year.
Recently, Gillian shot a commercial for Emperor Watch and Jewellery (英皇鐘錶珠寶) where she wore traditional Chinese wedding qipao and also some red-fitted gowns, complete with the jewellery from the Hong Kong brand.
“When you come across the right person, happiness will unexpectedly seep into your life. The [wedding] jewellery is infused with a family’s hope and well wishes. This will fill the bride-to-be with feelings of gratefulness and happiness. I’m very thankful for all the blessings from my family and friends. It gave me an unforgettable wedding,” Gillian said as quoted by Jayne Stars.
