Malaysian K-pop fans can look forward to a celebration of music, dance and fandom as K-Verse MY presents K-Pop Cine Fest 2026, a series of free on-ground activities held in conjunction with HYBE CINE FEST 2026.
Taking place on 24, 25 and 31 October at the GSC LaLaport BBCC Foyer, the programme features dance workshops, Random Play Dance (RPD), a K-Pop DJ Party and trivia quizzes. A K-Pop Vendor Market will also take place at The Labs KL, featuring local K-pop vendors, merchandise and finds, as well as a DIY corner.
Following its involvement in HYBE CINE FEST IN ASIA at LaLaport BBCC in July 2025, K-Verse MY returns with an expanded programme designed to bring fans together beyond the cinema experience.
Celebrating HYBE CINE FEST 2026
HYBE CINE FEST 2026 marks the festival’s first worldwide edition, running from 24 to 31 October across cinemas in more than 60 territories. Presented by Trafalgar Releasing and HYBE, this year’s programme brings selected concert films and interactive cinema experiences to the big screen.
The lineup includes SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR ‘NEW_’, TOMORROW X TOGETHER WORLD TOUR ‘ACT: TOMORROW’, ENHYPEN WORLD TOUR ‘BLOOD SAGA’ and the interactive 3D HYBE CHEERING PARTY, featuring music videos from artists across the HYBE roster. BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ live viewings from Buenos Aires and São Paulo will also screen in Malaysia on 25 and 31 October.
At LaLaport BBCC, festival highlights include merchandise giveaways, a lightstick customisation station, a HYBE-themed selfie booth, a message wall, fan-made freebies, artist photo standees and interactive games. Exclusive fan gifts will also be available for selected screenings at participating cinemas nationwide, while stocks last.
Three Days of Music, Dance and Fan Experiences
K-Pop Cine Fest 2026 offers fans multiple ways to celebrate their favourite artists and connect with Malaysia’s K-pop community.
Dance enthusiasts can join workshops featuring ENHYPEN’s “Bloody Paradise” and BTS’s “2.0”, led by instructors Jeny and Julia. Random Play Dance returns with six sessions across the three event dates, including a dedicated HYBE Edition and a special SEVENTEEN song-guessing session.
The K-Pop DJ Party by GSC, featuring DJ Jin, will bring K-pop tracks to the dance floor, while trivia quizzes, including a HYBE Edition, will give fans the chance to test their knowledge and win prizes.

The K-Pop Vendor Market at The Labs KL will run on 24, 25 and 31 October, offering visitors the opportunity to discover local K-pop vendors, browse merchandise and other K-pop finds, and explore a DIY corner.
