Cats are taking over the highlands this Halloween as Resorts World Awana brings Under The Stars Meowloween to the Great Lawn on 31 October. Promising a fun-filled evening for cat lovers, families and friends, the celebration will bring together games, live music and creative fun, all set against the cool highlands air.
With free entry for all guests, the evening invites everyone to settle into a laid-back outdoor setting with picnic mats, bean bags and parasols while enjoying an evening of entertainment and activities under the stars.
A Purr-fect Night Under the Stars
The highlight of the evening arrives at 8.30 pm, when Resorts World Awana’s feline guests take the stage for the Catwalk & Fashion Show. Bringing together Halloween Fun and feline flair, the showcase invites guests and their cats to strut their stuff in their most creative and adorable looks, giving the audience a front-row seat to an evening of four-legged fashion.
With the cats taking the spotlight, guests can get into the Meowloween spirit by dressing up in their cutest cat onesies or getting a face painting on the spot, priced from RM15 to RM30 (2 sizes), transforming themselves for the occasion.
Games, Giggles and Good Times
Throughout the evening, guests can enjoy some family-friendly fun with a lineup of classic lawn games at the Lawn Game Alley, including Giant Jenga, Giant Tic Tac Toe and Cornhole, alongside a bouncing castle. A Bubble Station and food stalls will also be open for guests to enjoy.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, a two-piece band will take the stage for two live music sets at 6.30 pm and 9 pm, providing the soundtrack for guests as they unwind and enjoy the open-air setting.
For those looking to get creative, hands-on workshops are also available from RM20, featuring plaster painting, RM 40 wool felting and RM 40 coin bank-making. Guests can also capture the evening with a quirky Newspaper Photobooth, priced at RM10 for two prints.

No outdoor celebration is complete without good food, and guests can choose between two dining options designed for a relaxed evening on the lawn.
Priced at RM40 per person, the Meowloween Grab & Go set comes with picnic mat seating and a hearty selection including egg sandwiches, fried chicken, fried noodles, fruit cups, iced lemon tea, coffee or tea. The package also includes two newspaper-style photobooth prints.
For a more indulgent evening, the Lodge BBQ offers a hearty buffet spread at RM78 for adults and RM48 for children. Available from 7 pm to 10 pm on the Great Lawn, guests can dig into grilled favourites such as lamb shoulders and juicy BBQ chicken alongside roasted beef striploin from the carving station. The spread also features local and international favourites such as fried rice, ayam masak sambal and seafood aglio olio pasta, with live stations serving Penang char kuey teow and an assortment of fritters.
Launching as Resorts World Awana’s latest monthly signature dining experience, Under the Stars Lodge BBQ will take place on the last Saturday of every month, from 31 October onwards.
