As we are just a week away from the 15th General Election (GE15), political parties have finalised their candidates. However, a “new” candidate contesting the Muar parliamentary seat has set the internet ablaze, particularly with her shocking campaign billboards.
Recently, a photo of a large billboard went viral on social media. The image shows a beautiful woman named Nurul Bainun Murshidi, who’s apparently contesting the Muar parliamentary seat. She was clad in a sexy, low-cut blue top, revealing ample cleavage.
As seen in the campaign poster shared on her socials, Nurul Bainun (or Enon in short) also came up with a list of manifestos. Among those include empowering widows and unmarried men, who are often marginalised by the society. In addition, it appears that the female “candidate” is also determined to make Muar a mosquito-free city.
However, it was later revealed that Enon is actually not a real candidate! According to an online portal, the lady is an online creator. The viral images of her “campaigns” printed on billboards and banners were actually photoshopped by her. Needless to say, a lot of netizens reacted negatively to the post shared by Enon on her socials.
Many of them have called her out for her apparent lack of professionalism. In response to that, Enon explained that the post was intended as a joke. She later deleted the images after facing tons of backlash online. She has also set her IG on private mode.
