Gatita Yan (Tong Lee Yan) revealed yesterday (27th April) that she’s apparently recruiting for a new project. Like any good internet celebrity, she’s reaching out to netizens via her socials, mainly using her Instagram Story for her job pitch.
In addition to a few details about the job, Gatita Yan has also included a list of requirements she expects from her potential recruits. Some of these sound reasonable and seem like common sense. But, there is one condition that seems out of place. For a reason only known to her, Gatita has asked for her prospective employees’ horoscopes!
OnlyFans creator and local DJ Gatita Yan isn’t exactly one to stick to conventional behaviours. The opiniated 31-year-old has always been unabashed in everything she does, regardless of what people think of her. Be it how she handles her love life, to splurging on herself for her birthday or even just her work as an OnlyFans creator in general, Gatita has always has a set way of doing things, and that is her way.
Well, it seems her job pitch is no different. Gatita shared in her Instagram Story that she was looking for someone willing to participate in an NFT project for about RM3000 to RM5000. “Work location (is in the) KL and PJ area, (and you) must come to work,” she stated. “During work, (you must) follow office hours and answer your mobile phone (promptly).” But, that isn’t all Gatita Yan expects of her employee apparently.
She stated she was looking for someone who has organising skills, is consistent, responsible, loves working, has a sense of leadership, and could follow up on things and execute them well. Above all, they couldn’t be lazy or conceited.
“If you meet the conditions and want to sprint to the pinnacle of your career, please send your horoscope and resume here,” Gatita said, adding that the horoscope should follow their date and time of birth in the Gregorian calendar. Gatita also told applicants to email her their resume directly and firmly requested they do not PM (private message) her.
Netizens are already giving her flak for her specific criteria. However, Gatita has firmly rebuffed such criticisms. She explained that as she has run her company for many years, she has experienced different kinds of people, As such, she knows exactly the kind of person she wants and doesn’t want to work for her.
“If you have nothing (to offer) and still have a (sensitive and capricious) mentality, you can stay at home and wait for opportunity to come (to you),” she remarked. “I definitely do not want someone like you here, thank you.” Gatita made it clear that while she does appreciate her employees, those who could not match her standards were not welcome. “My company is my life, is it something you can play with?” she asked scathingly.
Well, Gatita Yan is certainly looking for a very specific skillset. We’re not entirely sure what their horoscope has to do with work, but it must mean something to Gatita! We wish her luck as she finds the perfect candidate for her job.
