Gardenia To Increase Prices After 1st October! Here Are The New Prices

Malaysians have been feeling the pinch following the rising cost of living. Unfortunately, bread manufacturers will also be increasing their prices soon – and that includes Gardenia. 

A Lowyat forum member recently shared a letter dated 25th September, listing the new prices for Gardenia products starting 1st October. Taking account of the RM0.10 to RM0.40 increase, here is how much the newly-priced Gardenia products will cost you:

NuMee & NuMee Keluarga – RM2.00 & RM3.20 (Previously RM1.90 & 2.80)

Gardenia’s noodle range has been receiving lots of love ever since its introduction. The noodles will increase to RM2.00 and RM3.20 respectively from the previous price of RM1.90 and RM2.80. 

Fluffy Buns 6pcs Corn Custard, Malty Chocolate & Adzuki Red Bean – RM4.20 (Previously RM4.00)

These filled buns are great for sharing and come in three delicious flavours. They were priced at RM4.00 but after 1st October, these buns will cost RM4.20 each.

PUAZZ! Sambal Bilis, Sambal Mackerel & Kari Ayam – RM1.60 & RM2.60 (Previously RM1.50 & RM2.50)

These PUAZZ! buns are great as a quick snack when you’re on the go. These buns will increase by RM0.10 each from RM1.50 for Sambal Bilis and RM2.50 for Sambal Mackerel and Kari Ayam, which means they will now cost RM1.60 and RM2.60.

QuickBites Chocolate, Vanilla, Butter Sugar & Corn – RM1.20 (Previously RM1.10)

These iconic cream-filled buns have been a staple for many Malaysian families for years. After 1st October, these buns will cost you RM0.10 more because they will be priced at RM1.20 each.

QuickBites Salted Caramel & Black Forest – RM 1.70 (Previously RM1.60)

The Salted Caramel and Black Forest variants have been a hit with fans from day one. The new prices of these variants will be RM1.70, a 10-cent increase from RM1.60.

QuickBites Butter Toffee & Red Bean – RM1.50 (Previously RM1.40)

The QuickBites range also offers Butter Toffee and Red Bean variants. After 1st October. The new prices will be RM1.50 each, increasing from the previous RM1.40 price tag.

Double Choc Muffins – RM2.20 (Previously RM2.30)

The Double Choc Muffins are the perfect sweet treat for everyone. These sweet muffins will soon cost RM2.30, 10 cents more than the current price of RM2.20.

Twiggies Tiramisu, Peanut Butter Bounce, Dream Cream & Choc-a-lot – RM2.10 (Previously RM2.00)

Twiggies have been a fan-favourite and a part of many Malaysians’ childhood. These snacks will soon increase by RM0.10 in price from RM2.00, making the new prices RM2.10.

Squiggles Strawberry & Choco Malto – RM1.60 (Previously RM1.50)

The iconic Strawberry and Choco Malto Squiggles have been around for years and were previously priced at RM1.50. After 1st October, the buns will cost RM1.60 each.

Sandwich Bread Rolls – RM3.00 (Previously RM2.90)

These Sandwich Bread Rolls are great eaten on their own or made into hot dogs. They will also increase their prices soon, going from RM2.90 to RM3.00.

Toast’em Waffles Vanilla, Blueberry, Orange, Chocolate – RM1.60 (Previously RM1.50)

These ready-to-eat waffles are great eaten as is or toasted. After the price hike, they will be priced 10 cents more, going from RM1.50 to RM1.60.

Auntie Rosie Kaya Pandan  & Original – RM3.80 (Previously RM3.50)

The popular Auntie Rosie Kaya in both Pandan and Original flavours will also be affected by the price hike, increasing 30 cents from RM3.50 to RM3.80.

As the list does not include the Gardenia bread loaves, it is unknown whether those products are also affected by the price hike. It is also worth noting that Gardenia previously introduced a price hike back in September 2022, stating the rising cost of raw ingredients due to inflation as the reason for the increase in prices.
