When it comes to artists and idols, a popular game many like to play is whether said artist will get married or not. And of course, when that will be. So, it’s no real surprise that fans are showing an avid interest in Hong Kong singer Gloria Tang aka G.E.M. (邓紫棋)’s love life!
G.E.M. has been seeing well-off stylist Mark Ngai since 2017. Friends and fans have always supported the relationship, with many wondering when the duo will tie the knot. Well, as it turns out, that might have just taken place recently!
After five years of being together, everyone is seemingly more than ready to have the duo get together. But, so far the couple had shown no inclination of officially tying the knot. Curiously enough, there was a rumour a few years ago claiming that they had gotten married secretly. After that was denied by close friends, some later claimed the couple had broken up! But that was debunked by G.E.M. herself when she cast Mark in her recent MV.
With that rumour put the ground, a new one soon sprung up in it’s place. Paparazzi recently alleged that a certain couple has officially obtained their marriage certificate. They added that the information was obtained from an inside source .”This is how the two get along,” paparazzi stated, reportedly sharing a photo of the couple at dinner. “(They are) talking and laughing (and look) very close. (We) think (they’re) living together.”
Well, if the rumours are true, we offer our congratulations to the couple! We also would certainly hope to see a wedding ceremony soon!
Update (12th October, 2:35pm):
G.E.M.’s studio has since released a statement denying the rumour stating: “What is G.E.M. talking about? (Signed) the certificate? Why don’t we know (about it)? “Alleged” reports shouldn’t harm people.”
