Global apparel retailer UNIQLO is set to launch its highly anticipated UNIQLO U 2025 Fall/Winter Collection on 26th September, bringing together innovation, simplicity, and refined functionality. Designed under the creative direction of Christophe Lemaire and Sarah-Linh Tran, alongside their Paris-based team, this season’s theme, “Future Layers”, reimagines the art of layering.
Drawing inspiration from the deep, mysterious blues of the North Sea, the collection celebrates the serenity of coastal landscapes while evoking solitude and calm. A colour palette centred on indigo blue, deep basil green, and rich plum purple captures this tranquil spirit with sophistication.
At the forefront of the collection is a strong focus on outerwear. Functional yet stylish, the lightweight PUFFTECH insulation takes centre stage in a women’s parka and men’s blouson, both cut in short, rounded silhouettes that allow for versatile, genderless styling.
The lineup also introduces standout pieces like the BLOCKTECH Utility Parka, featuring an adjustable hood, reinforced brim, and double placket for practical protection, as well as durable water repellency to withstand light rain. Equally striking is the Oversized Single Breasted Coat, defined by a graceful A-line silhouette that merges elegance with weather resistance.
Beyond outerwear, “Future Layers” invites wearers to play with contrasting textures and fabrics to create depth and dimension in their everyday looks. The Merino Blend High Neck Cardigan and 3D Knit Merino Blend Dress follow the body’s natural lines, offering sleek silhouettes, while the Lambswool Dress and Crew Neck Sweaters provide comfort and warmth.
The collection also features Drape Shirts with side slits and Utility Oversized Shirts with outdoor-inspired detailing, allowing for endless layering combinations. These tonal pairings emphasise UNIQLO U’s distinctive aesthetic: modern, versatile, and effortlessly refined.
Though the collection is divided into 20 items for women, 18 items for men, and 3 accessories, most designs embrace a genderless approach. Each piece is crafted to move seamlessly across wardrobes, reflecting the brand’s philosophy of universal style that adapts to individual expression.
The UNIQLO U 2025 Fall/Winter Collection will be available from 26th September at all UNIQLO stores in Malaysia and online, with prices starting from RM49.90.
