Durians At Buffets

Nespresso Summer 2025 Collection with Paolo Paolo Gelato @ The Five KPD

While having a black coffee is great for a short boost, why not have something that’ll send that caffeine straight through you while tasting amazing at the same time?
This Summer, Nespresso comes out with the coolest coffee in town. Bringing back limited iced coffee flavours, accessories ranging in colours and more. The collection is inspired by the vibes from the 90s and the pulse of the city. The main flavours for the collection are the Pistachio Vanilla Flavour Over Ice and the Coconut Vanilla Flavour Over Ice.
Nespresso’s Summer 2025 Collection
Available at any Nespresso boutique, you will be able to find their limited edition Vertuo Pop in the beautiful colour of Pistachio Green (RM899). Summer Treat with Paolo Paolo Gelato

Nespresso’s Summer fun leaves extend outside the comfort of their boutique to the outlets of Paolo Paolo Gelato. Inspired by Nespresso’s limited flavours, they now bring four limited creations to the table!
They offer two frozen delicacies, Vanilla Mascarpone with Pistachio and Coconut Vanilla Sorbet, and two desserts, a deconstructed tiramisu, featuring a scoop of either gelato served over coffee-soaked ladyfingers, and an affogato, where the gelato is paired with a pour of limited-edition iced coffees.

Shang Palace at Shangri-La KL just dropped a fresh, new à la carte menu. Chef Keith Yeap, who’s worked in top kitchens across Asia and the Middle East, is mixing classic Cantonese flavours with a fun Malaysian twist. Expect fancy but comforting dishes like jasmine tea–smoked wagyu ribs, sea cucumber in golden broth, and wok-fried lamb chops that are bold and flavour-packed.
Some dishes are playful too – like the Silk Lava Shrimp Ball, which comes with a cheesy, melty surprise inside. There’s also crispy quinoa-coated prawns, spicy salted shrimp, and even okra with house-made sambal that’ll remind you of home.
