Let’s start with the most recent one. Superstar Taylor Swift shared a post on her Instagram account with the caption, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married”, revealing that she and Travis had gotten engaged. The athlete got down on one knee, proposing to the singer with a ring that cost anywhere from US$500,000 to US$5 million (approximately RM2.1 million to RM21 million). Nevertheless, fans were excited about the news.
2. Prince Jackson & Molly Schirmang
Prince Jackson, the eldest son of the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson, has announced his engagement to his longtime girlfriend, Molly Schirmang. The couple have been together for 8 years and, although their relationship was never a secret, they have largely kept it private, sharing glimpses only on special occasions.
3. Britt Stewart & Daniel Durant
Professional dancer and choreographer Britt Stewart, from “Dancing with the Stars”, has officially tied the knot with actor Daniel Durant. The couple exchanged vows at the Riata Ranch in Santa Margarita, California, on 23rd August, in a ceremony attended by close friends and family. Earlier this week, People magazine released the official wedding photos, showcasing the couple’s elegant and intimate celebration.
4. Kim Jong-kook
Moving on to the Korean entertainment scene, singer and “Running Man” star Kim Jong-kook surprised everyone, including his fellow cast members, that he’ll be getting married soon. The celeb confirmed the news himself in a heartfelt letter to fans, thanking everyone for their overwhelming support and expressing his excitement as he looks forward to this new chapter of his life. To this day, he has yet to disclose the identity of his soon-to-be wife.
5. Cristiano Ronaldo & Georgina Rodríguez
Georgina Rodríguez made the announcement that she and football star Cristiano Ronaldo are engaged. She posted a photo on her Instagram, showing off a wedding ring with a diamond nearly half the size of her pinky. “Yes, I do. In this and in all my lives”, she wrote in her captions. The couple met in 2016, and apparently, the athlete was waiting for the right moment to finally propose to his beloved. The football world is now overjoyed by this momentous occasion.
6. Huang Zitao & Xu Yiyang
Former EXO member Huang Zitao proposed to his girlfriend Xu Yiyang in August of last year. Although the couple have officially registered their marriage, they have yet to hold a wedding ceremony to celebrate their union. However, the rapper confirmed on the “Dare or Not” variety show that the wedding will take place this October. He revealed plans for a large celebration with celebrity guests and 100 lucky fans in attendance.
7. French Montana & Princess Sheikha Mahra Al Maktoum
Moroccan-American rapper French Montana is officially engaged to the Princess of Dubai, Her Highness Sheikha Mahra Al Maktoum. A spokesperson confirmed the engagement to the press on 28th August 2025 (Thursday). According to reports, the rapper proposed to Sheikha Mahra during Paris Fashion Week in June. So far, there are few details available about the engagement and the couple’s wedding plans. However, sources say that the couple’s families have given their blessings.
