Art is a form of expression, made to connect with those around but most importantly art is one of the mediums to connect with oneself. Thus, it is important for us to celebrate the pure notion of art, especially the artists behind it. With that being said, Comic Art Festival Kuala Lumpur is returning to shine the spotlight on our homegrown talents!
Comic Art Festival Kuala Lumpur (CAFKL) is a community that supports illustration and comic art across the globe by providing a platform for these artists to make their statement through hosting events such as this. Hence, there will be over 200+ artists joining this year’s advent, which will take place at Level 3 of Fahrenheit88 shopping mall, starting from Saturday (8th June) to Sunday (9th June). Thus, here are some notable artists you will come across:
1. SPACETEL
- About their art: SPACETEL beckons patrons with its neon, eclectic with a touch of 90s art style, imbued with a palpable funkiness. Every creation exudes a vibrant energy, reminiscent of an era marked by bold colors and whimsical designs. Here, visitors can peruse an eclectic array of offerings, from quirky keychains to captivating art prints, each item a testament to the boundless imagination of the creators.
