Celine

The Celine 18 – Men’s Winter 2023 show took place at the legendary Le Palace in Paris. A place dear to Heidi Slimane that he frequented most nights during his youth, starting from the age of 16. In this collection, he delved into the rediscovery of the 2000s’ electro clash and electronic rock sounds and scenes. Pieces that are key to the collection include the tight black leather Celine pants, which are paired in “double leather” with biker and racer jackets customized with studs or rhinestones; Celine coats that are worn oversized and are cut out of cashmere or English tweed recreated on a traditional loom; and Celine suits that are slightly raised, worn with cropped flared trousers.

To check out the full collection, head to Celine’s official website.

Coach

Coach debuted its Fall 2023 collection with a runway show at the Park Avenue Armory. A celebration of the heritage silhouettes and codes that define Coach’s American fashion language, seen through the eyes of a new generation, Fall introduced shearling, leather, and denim pieces in youthful proportions and colors, and enriched with artisanal treatments. The house brought a modern attitude to classic leather staples like trenches, jackets and skirts, explored in floor-length silhouettes.

The house also expanded Coach (Re)Loved, its programme focused on giving Coach bags a second life, by bringing its “Remade” pillar to footwear. The collection introduced leather sneakers with the upper crafted from repurposed, pre-loved Coach bags, deconstructed and reimagined. The house also crafted a series of colorful, silk chiffon slip dresses, naturally dyed with botanicals like logwood, safflower and marigold, and designed with minimal waste practices – using fabric scraps from pattern-cutting as embellishments. Finally, the collection introduced jewelry reimagined from repurposed vintage pieces.
