Tourism Malaysia has teamed up with Spritzer for the third edition of Air Love Cuti-Cuti: Jom Makan-Makan, with the homegrown natural mineral water brand serving as the campaign’s official Hydration Partner. This year, the campaign puts Malaysian food at the heart of travel, encouraging Malaysians to revisit familiar favourites while discovering new dishes, destinations and cultures across the country.
Now in its third year, Air Love Cuti-Cuti: Jom Makan-Makan continues Tourism Malaysia and Spritzer’s efforts to encourage local travel by turning food cravings into a reason to explore. Whether it is travelling to another state for a favourite dish or rediscovering a familiar taste closer to home, the campaign highlights how food can be a starting point for discovering more of Malaysia.

The collaboration comes as domestic tourism continues to gain momentum, with 74.7 million domestic visitors recorded in the first quarter of 2026, marking a 7.2 per cent increase from 69.7 million during the same period last year. By combining Tourism Malaysia’s role in promoting domestic travel with Spritzer’s presence in Malaysian households, the campaign aims to reach travellers during everyday moments such as meals, road trips and weekend getaways.
At the centre of the campaign is eatlocal.my, Spritzer’s swipe-to-discover platform designed to make food and travel discovery more engaging. Users can browse more than 100 Malaysian dishes, swipe right on those they want to try and discover places serving them within a 15km radius. The selection includes local favourites such as nasi lemak and chicken rice, as well as snacks and kuih including curry puffs and apam balik.

Rather than starting with a restaurant, eatlocal.my puts the dish first, answering the familiar Malaysian question, “Nak makan apa?” The platform currently covers Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Penang, Johor, Perak, Melaka and Sabah, with plans to include more states and destinations in the future. Users can also check in at featured locations to earn points, which can be redeemed for travel, dining and lifestyle rewards. They will also qualify for monthly lucky draws, including chances to win flights to Langkawi, adding another incentive to explore the featured destinations.
Running throughout 2026, the campaign will also feature roadshows in participating states, travel content showcasing local food experiences and a collaboration with local artist Bingka on a limited-edition tote bag inspired by Malaysian dishes. Exclusive collectibles, including a specially designed sun bear plushie, will also be part of the campaign alongside ongoing promotional activities.

Through food, Air Love Cuti-Cuti: Jom Makan-Makan aims to encourage Malaysians to experience the country’s culinary heritage while discovering its cultures, traditions and communities along the way. The campaign also supports the continued growth of domestic tourism as part of the Visit Malaysia 2026-2027 (VM2026-2027) initiative.
