Jessica Alba & Cash Warren
Celebrity couple Jessica Alba and Cash Warren shocked fans when they announced their split on 8th January 2025 (Wednesday). The couple has been married since 2008 and shares three children. The actress never shared the reason for her split with the film producer but said they split on good terms and will continue co-parenting their children.
Huang Sheng Yi & Yang Zi
After much speculation, Chinese actress Huang Sheng Yi (黄圣依) revealed that she and actor Yang Zi (杨子) have decided to split. The pair previously admitted to facing marital woes, even joining a reality show to “salvage” the relationship. However, the celeb couple said they’ve completely separated as of January 2025 and are living separately. The two married in 2007 and have two children.
Jessica Simpson & Eric Johnson
Jessica Simpson is also seeking a divorce from her husband of ten years, football player Eric Johnson. Rumours of the pair’s split surfaced in November 2024 after sources reported that they no longer live together. The actress would later confirm the separation on 13th January 2025 (Monday), asking for privacy as they focus on co-parenting their three children.
Kaia Gerber & Austin Butler
Actress and model Kaia Gerber officially called it quits with actor Austin Butler after three years of dating. Media outlets reported the news on 7th January 2025 (Tuesday), but the pair allegedly broke up near the end of 2024. As of writing, the pair have yet to release any statement, so it’s unknown what caused the split.
Naomi Osaka & Cordae
Tennis star Naomi Osaka also split from her boyfriend, rapper Cordae, earlier this year. The athlete announced the separation through social media on 6th January 2025 (Monday), adding that the two remain on good terms. Naomi and Cordae began dating in 2019 and welcomed their daughter Shae in 2023.
Mi-Joo & Song Bum Keun
Nine months after going public with their relationship, K-pop idol Mi-Joo (이미주) and South Korean football player Song Bum Keun (송범근) announced their separation. According to the news report from 20th January 2025 (Monday), the two decided to part ways due to the pressure they faced with their public relationship. However, it seemed the former Lovelyz member and the athlete remained on good terms.
