If you’re a foodie who’s always looking out for something new to feast on, the month brings a fresh lineup of exciting new dining menus from some of the best hotels in the Klang Valley! Whether you’re planning a romantic date night, a casual catch-up with friends, or a solo foodie adventure, these new eateries and menus are worth adding to checking out.
This August, we’re bringing you some incredible dining picks from Courtyard by Marriott Kuala Lumpur South, Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur and more! Keep reading to see what menus you can explore this month:<>

Courtyard by Marriott Kuala Lumpur South

Courtyard by Marriott Kuala Lumpur South celebrate the 68th Merdeka with exciting food and drink promotions at Substance, Courtyard Lounge, and At 137 Bar!  Enjoy Endless Lunch & Dinner at Substance, featuring five signature steamed dishes, alongside a buffet spread with seafood on ice during dinner, sushi, sashimi, and local and Western favourites. Indulge in the Merdeka & Malaysia Day Afternoon Tea set, blending tradition and taste. At At 137 Bar, sip on four exquisite gins infused with fresh fruits—perfect for a vibrant evening.

SIMMER AND SAVOUR @ Substance

Savour 5 signature steamed delights, including the crowd-favourite 3-flavour steamed fish and 2 varieties of tender steamed chicken. Pair your picks with a sumptuous buffet spread featuring seafood on ice during dinner, fresh sushi and sashimi, and a tempting mix of local favourites and Western classics.

Shang Palace at Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur continues its evolution in redefining traditional Cantonese cuisine with a new offering tailored for discerning professionals who value efficiency, elegance, and exceptional taste. Priced at RM120, the Business Set Lunch is a thoughtfully designed five-course menu that invites business executives, entrepreneurs, and C-suite leaders to host high-stakes meetings or strengthen professional ties over an elevated midday dining experience.

Crafted by Executive Chinese Chef Keith Yeap, the menu reflects Shang Palace’s refined culinary direction – one that blends time-honoured Cantonese traditions with contemporary finesse, while addressing the evolving expectations of today’s diners. In celebration of Merdeka and Malaysia Day, Element Kuala Lumpur, in collaboration with Dilmah Tea, proudly presents the Merdeka Rasa Afternoon Tea, a thoughtfully curated tea pairing experience that honors Malaysia’s vibrant culinary heritage through a refined and flavor-forward lens. Served at TRACE Restaurant & Bar, this high tea offers a tribute to local ingredients reimagined with global finesse, beautifully complemented by Dilmah’s premium tea selection.
