Japanese anime and gaming fans in Malaysia rejoice – because your favourites franchises are coming to town with limited-time pop-up stores! Grab exclusive merchandise and collectables as you wander through these exclusive themed stores.

Due to the tremendous support from Malaysian anime and gaming fans of previous pop-ups, Malaysia has become a popular destination for conventions and pop-ups of popular franchises. This April, dive into the action-packed universe of the highly anticipated anime sequels and popular gaming world with these 3 anime/gaming pop-up stores:

1. Haikyuu!! (ハイキュー!!)

Along with a new game and movie underway, the popular volleyball anime “Haikyuu!! (ハイキュー!!)”, is making an appearance with an official pop-up store happening from 16th April to 4th May at 1 Utama Shopping Centre. The pop-up will include exclusive merchandise plus limited-edition collectables, so rally your squad and score your merch at this limited-time pop-up!

Date: 16th April – 4th May 2025

Venue: 1 Utama Shopping Centre (LG Oval & Centre Court)

2. Capcom

Capcom announced its first-ever official pop-up store happening from 17th to 20th April 2025 at LaLaport Kuala Lumpur. Known for publishing games such as, “Monster Hunter”, “Resident Evil”, “Street Fighter” and “Devil May Cry”, the pop-up store will be located on the ground floor at the Main Atrium. Visitors will be able to experience a limited-time interactive walkthrough, with displays and installations of iconic Capcom characters. Also available are exclusive limited-edition merchandise and collectables!

Date: 17th – 20th April 2025

Venue: 1 Utama Shopping Centre (LG Oval & Centre Court)

3. Chainsaw Man

With its success with the “Solo Leveling (나 혼자만 레벨업/俺だけレベルアップな件)” experience, ACO Lab returns with another highly anticipated collaboration featuring the popular anime, “Chainsaw Man (チェンソーマン)”. From 19th April 2025 at Pavilion Bukit Jalil, fans can expect a themed cafe with a specially crafted menu, an official merchandise store and an immersive photo zone with the iconic characters. Whether you’re Team Denji, cheering for Power, or just here for the thrill—this is one event you absolutely won’t want to miss!
