Jameson Distilled Sounds is back in Malaysia, and in 2026, it’s the most collaborative chapter yet.
For the first time in Malaysia, Jameson has commissioned five original tracks—each co-written and performed by Malaysian artists brought together for this programme—debuting live across multiple venues nationwide from 8 May, before it all comes together at the final showcase Jameson Distilled Sounds Wrapped on 13 June 2026.

Celebrating Creative Chemistry
This year, Jameson Distilled Sounds Malaysia commissioned five original tracks, each a product of two artists finding their common ground:
- Sweetside by MISTERTWOFIVE & Murty

Genre-bending rapper MISTERTWOFIVE and soulful R&B singer Murty set the tone with a smooth and upbeat track titled ‘Sweetside’. It moves between indie-pop and hip-hop influences, pairing laid-back rap verses with Murty’s melodic vocals.
- Silk by Laura Munan & Zekke

Laura Munan, known for her warm R&B and soul sound, and Zekke glide through ‘Silk’, a slow R&B track built on soft vocals and stripped-back production. The pace naturally slows down as both voices sit close and steady, holding an intimate feel.
- Fall Away by LANG & JAIE

Light and catchy, ‘Fall Away’ brings an indie-pop energy that stays bright from start to finish. Known for his fun and bouncy sound, LANG and electronic pop vocalist JAIE lean into an easy and melodic groove. They carry the track with hooks that feel natural and light, keeping the energy steady throughout.
- Never Quite Like You by Su San & Jeantonic

Cinematic dark-pop artist Su San and Jeantonic, known for her C-pop influences, bring contrasting styles to ‘Never Quite Like You’ – a pop track with a subtle dance edge. Their voices work off each other naturally, giving the song a bounce that makes it fun and easy to listen to.
- Think Too Much by Jo Lixian & Q Sound

Groovy and laid-back, ‘Think Too Much’ blends chill R&B with jazz influences, carried by warm horns and a smooth, easy flow. Neo-soul vocalist Jo Lixian keeps it steady with Q Sound, principal trombonist of the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra, while the track stays relaxed but full of movement.
“This year, we wanted to go beyond giving artists a stage. Commissioning five original tracks means these collaborations live on long after the night ends—and that is exactly what Jameson Distilled Sounds stands for.”
“We believe in Malaysian music, and this tour is our way of bringing that belief to music fans across the country. And if that’s not a Must Be A Jameson moment, we don’t know what is,” said Pooi Wan Liew, Head of Marketing at Pernod Ricard Malaysia.
Building Bridges Through Music
Leading the charge on home ground is Saint Kylo—the Malaysian artist who represented the country at Jameson Distilled Sounds in Ireland in 2025—where he collaborated with Dublin’s own Skinner, a multi-instrumentalist and post-punk revival singer-songwriter, writing and recording original music under the mentorship of Anderson .Paak.
Saint Kylo brings that experience full circle: hosting an exclusive digital series featuring all five collaborating artists, available here from 28 April, with performances and interviews that go behind the music and into the studio moments, the creative tensions, and the stories that shaped each track. It all builds to his headline set at the final show, closing out the tour.
Each stop on the Jameson Distilled Sounds On Tour features a lead artist and a special guest, putting rising Malaysian talent front and centre in rooms built for the music, with select shows also featuring the lead artist and their collaborator performing their original tracks. The tour runs as follows:
- 8 May 2026 — Lot.TwentyTwo featuring Lang x Jaie + Special Guest Crinkle Cut
- 15 May 2026 — Luna Bistro featuring Jo Lixian + Special Guest Skipper
- 22 May 2026 — Yue by Shill 90s featuring Laura Munan + Special Guest Soft Soft Pillow
- 30 May 2026 — Asap by Lye featuring Mister Two Five x Murty + Special Guest TY:DEL

Each show comes with signature Jameson Ginger and Lime cocktails and a room full of people who came for the music.
