From 22 May to 28 June 2026, watch as the highlands transform into a playful breakfast-themed wonderland with the first Disney Breakfast Besties Pop Up in Malaysia where beloved Disney-inspired plushies, local breakfast culture and family fun come together in one exciting destination.
While Disney Breakfast Besties are plush toys and no actual food will be served, visitors can step into a cheerful world filled with activities, entertainment, special collectibles, creative workshops and deliciously fun experiences designed to turn an ordinary visit into an unforgettable adventure.
Breakfast Hub Plush Experience
At the hub of the celebration is the vibrant Kimhua Atrium, reimagined into a lively breakfast hub bursting with colour, music and playful surprises. One of the highlights is the Breakfast Hub Plush Experience, where visitors who purchase a bundle of three or four Disney Breakfast Besties plushies can watch energetic “chefs” prepare and package their purchases in front of them.
The Plush Experience is available throughout the event period from 10am to 10pm daily. Shoppers are also invited to join in and cheer along, making every plushie purchase feel like a playful breakfast order brought to life.
Collectors and Disney fans can also explore the Breakfast Market Pop-Up Store, where visitors can purchase Disney Breakfast Besties merchandise, plushies and collectibles inspired by beloved local breakfast favourites.
Photo Ops, Play Zones and Passport Journey
Adding to the fun are a series of playful photo spots and activities inspired by Disney Breakfast Besties scattered across the atrium. Guests can strike a pose at the charming Mickey Kopi displays, wander through the adorable Disney Baked Goods-themed setups and challenge friends and family to a game of “Pau Tac Toe”.
Visitors can also embark on the Passport Journey, a mini adventure featuring Disney Breakfast Besties-inspired challenges including the “Teh Tarik Toss”, “Find Your Kaya Toast” and “Make Your Sandwich”. Guests who complete all three stations will receive collectible stickers as part of the experience.
More Weekend Performances and Workshops
The excitement continues every weekend with the lively Teh Tarik Performance that bring flair, energy and showmanship to the breakfast-themed celebration. Inspired by one of Malaysia’s most iconic breakfast traditions, the performances add a lively local touch to the atmosphere at Kimhua Atrium.
Families joining the experience can take a creative pause at the Art Corner and Origami Corner workshops, where hands-on crafting moments offer a softer, more relaxed beat.
Genting Rewards Members with a minimum spend of RM100, or Non-Members with a minimum spend of RM150, in a maximum of two receipts at any outlet in the resort or Breakfast Market are eligible to join in on the experience. Once inside, simple guided activities turn everyday materials into playful keepsakes inspired by breakfast foods, adding a personal touch to their visit.
Spend & Redeem
The Spend & Redeem programme adds another layer of delight to the experience. Shoppers who spend across the resort during the event period can redeem Disney-themed merchandise, with rewards available upon qualifying spend of RM500 (for Genting Rewards Card members) and RM700 (for non-GRC members). Each redemption unlocks a charming collectible to take home as part of the breakfast-themed journey.
