Koncert GenKRU Press Conference
The legendary KRU is making their highly-anticipated comeback with Konsert GenKRU on 3rd May 2025, at the Axiata Arena. After more than six years, Norman, Yusry, and Edry are reuniting for a spectacular concert that will celebrate their 30-year legacy in the Malaysian music industry.
Known for iconic hits like “Mengerti,” “Apa Saja,” and “Fanatik,” KRU has had an undeniable impact on shaping the local pop and hip hop scene. This concert will be their first major performance since GenerasiKRU25 in 2018, offering fans a chance to experience the evolution of KRU’s music from the 90s to today. A must-see for fans of all ages who grew up with their unforgettable sound, Konsert GenKRU is set to be the most epic local concert of 2025.

LaLaport BBCC Media Tour
Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Center (BBCC) launched multiple new outlets recently, and we got to attend some of the openings. The shopping centre has certainly become the go-to destination for fans of Japanese culture, anime, manga, and cutting-edge youth fashion. With a series of exclusive pop-ups, specialty stores, and collaborative spaces, LaLaport BBCC is the mall that promises something exciting for everyone.

Big Bad Wolf Books Sale Preview
Big Bad Wolf Books’ “World’s Biggest Book Sale” returned this year to much fanfare. Running 24 hours a day at Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre, the event was a godsend for bibliophiles. Covering an exhaustive range of genres, the sale offered bookworms an almost overwhelming choice of reading material. The event also saw other items being showcased, including games and other paraphernalia.

Acer’s The Power Within Luncheon
In celebration of a successful year, Acer invited friends from the media to celebrate the festive season over a hearty lunch. Not only were we treated to delicious food, we also received commemorative gifts (after putting in a little elbow grease). Of course, it wouldn’t be an Acer event if the brand didn’t take the opportunity to showcase its latest wave of new products, such as the Acer Nitro V14, Acer Vero PL2530i, the Acer Revo Box, and the Acer AOPEN QF18s.
Acer also held a very special lucky draw, which saw guests winning exciting prizes such as Predator Gaming controllers, various LEGO sets, and even Acer’s newest AI laptop, the Switft Go 14! Overall, it was an exciting and fun event that we wish to take part in again next year!

Balan Kash’s “CEKAP” Press Conference
Balan Kash, the acclaimed Malaysian Indian rapper and singer, has delivered numerous hit songs. More than just a talented artist, he is a symbol of unity, proudly embracing and celebrating his Malaysian heritage. As a prominent figure in the entertainment industry, he understands the profound ability of music to deliver meaningful messages to the community. Building on this vision, Balan Kash has reached an exciting milestone with the release of his first Malay-language album, “CEKAP”. This bold endeavor marks a significant step in elevating Malaysian music to the global stage. CEKAP is a vibrant pop-rap fusion, featuring five dynamic tracks that reflect creativity, culture, and innovation.
The official press conference for Balan Kash’s highly-anticipated album was held at Knowhere, Bangsar. The event was honoured by the presence of Yang Berhormat Syed Ahmad Bin Syed Abdul Rahman Al-Hadad from MyCreative Ventures, adding a significant touch to the launch. The press conference showcased the artist’s creative vision and his unwavering commitment to promoting unity and diversity through his music. To conclude the event on a high note, Balan Kash delivered a captivating performance of his song “Kuala Lumpur.”
