We’ve seen plenty of Malaysian celebrities showing off their wealth on socials – from going on lavish trips to posting about their shiny new ride. However, a recent video of actress Fatin Afeefa showing off her wealth has netizens more worried than jealous.
In the TikTok video, the actress was interviewed by digital content agency XENO Entertainment about the contents of her handbag. As she showed what was in her bag, which contained mobile phone, cardholder and accessories, the 29-year-old then pulled out a wad of RM50 notes, held together with a rubber band.

According to Fatin, she doesn’t use a purse to hold her cash but, instead, carries it as-is. She also joked that anyone looking to buy a gift for her could consider getting her a purse to keep her money in. The video then continued with a quick introduction to her outfit before ending with footage of the actress walking away.
Many netizens began commenting on the video, with most sharing their concerns about how the public figure carries her money. A few netizens noted that the actress could be targeted by thieves, especially since the video is up on a public platform. Some also urged her to be more careful with how she holds her bag to avoid getting snatched.
Some netizens have pointed out the possibility of the video being staged so the actress could have been more careful in person. However, we still can’t help but be concerned about the dangers, so we hope Fatin will be more vigilant when she’s out in public.
