A few months back, national footballer Faisal Halim garnered attention for his private life, with rumours that he and his wife Nur Syazwani were heading for divorce. While the couple did reconcile, there are now speculations that the two are facing another marital issue.
On 9th November 2025 (Sunday), Nur Syazwani took to Instagram Stories to share two posts, hinting at a disagreement with someone. One of the posts writes, “Marriage isn’t a gamble,” while the other writes, “Wanna play the game? Let’s play. No wonder you treat me like trash.” A few hours later, the social media personality would share a couple more Stories, alluding to some issues in her private life.
While the posts never mentioned any names, netizens deduced that the posts were for Nur Syazwani’s husband of six years, Faisal Halim. Many believed that the Stories are hints that the couple are facing another hurdle in their marriage. Just last September, Nur Syazwani sought divorce from the football star, affectionately known as Mickey. However, a couple of weeks later, the two reconciled and called off the divorce.
Many fear that Nur Syazwani’s recent postings suggest that the couple are heading for another divorce. However, the mother of one previously suggested that her marriage to the athlete had many issues. In a previous interview, Nur Syazwani revealed that the couple had separated many times and that she had tried to save their marriage each time they split. She also alluded to the involvement of a third party.
As of now, Faisal has yet to respond to the divorce rumours. In related news, the footballer recently went viral for his gesture towards fans of his team, Selangor FC. According to reports, fans were disappointed at the team’s recent performance, prompting a protest at MBPJ Stadium. However, Faisal, as team captain, took the initiative to speak to fans, assuming responsibility for his team.
